Rev. Jane Sheppard
I am an ordained OneSpirit Minister, ceramic artist and Samaritans Listener. My home and studio are in Bath where I trained as a primary teacher and lectured in Art and Design for 14 years alongside my career as a ceramicist.
I offer funeral services and plans, and support in exploring our authentic selves through clay and other medium. I have a practice making funerary urns and coiled vessels working with spiritual connection. The heart of my ministry is a commitment to Grace and Spirit- to truly honour and respect each life that passes. I view funerals as an opportunity for deep honouring, healing and transformation. I also offer personal support to those struggling to be their authentic selves, and to the bereaved.
SERVING: Southwest England, Eastern England

'Thank you for the beautiful way you held me, while I shared with you the most sensitive areas of my life. You gave me the opportunity to speak at my own pace without judgement or impatience. You encouraged me to provide more information as you required it and you gave me opportunity to provide you with a sense of what my hopes and wishes were for my funeral and what I wanted to achieve in relation to my family. You listened so carefully to everything I said with such warmth and took from my words a true sense of who I am. You have crafted the ceremony in such a beautiful way, thank you'.
You said everything I wanted to say, but didn't know how. It was beautiful.
